Applications are the new business capital, the machinery powering our digital age, turning data into value, creating new businesses, connecting people, changing the world. As the Lead Producer for this project, I was responsible for establishing the look and feel for F5’s Cloud / Core multi-media properties.

THE CHALLENGE with this project was conveying the abstract concept of application capital. THE SOLUTION was to work with F5’s subject matter experts to create a family of animations that highlight objects within our world, objects that are not instantly thought of in our new digital economy. The animations help give context to how historically analog functions of society, are impacted by application capital and digital transformation. The applications that run our farms, manage inventory, route traffic, are growing more important year over year. THE RESULT was a new framework for visualizing F5’s application capital messaging, leading to higher views, and clickthroughs on F5’s social channels, and F5.com.
